MMDS software |
||||
The
Mortality Medical Data Software (MMDS) is a de facto standard for mortality
coding. It has been developed by the National Centre for Health Statistics
(see http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/mmds/about_mmds.htm
for a presentation). Micar and Acme, 2 components of MMDS, are used by
Iris. This means that the MMDS must be installed to use Iris. MMDS is
a free software and can be downloaded at http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/mmds.htm.
Select the year of MMDS according to the year of death. |
